Vision Objects announces the release of MyScript® Builder 4.0
Nantes, France, August 24th, 2005, Vision Objects®, the global leader in handwriting recognition technology, announces today the 4.0 release of MyScript Builder. MyScript Builder 4.0 is a Software Development Kit (SDK) that provides the tools for integrating MyScript, Vision Objects’ state-of-the-art handwriting recognition technology, now offering even more possibilities.
In this new release, several features within MyScript Builder, such as the confidence score, have been improved and the documentation has been completely overhauled. New features include a highly sophisticated ink input model and recognition of circled characters that can be used for creating user-determined events. This release also supports new language packs including Danish, Finnish and Japanese in addition to those previously available.
MyScript Builder provides adapted solutions for integrating handwriting recognition capabilities in a variety of operating systems: Windows, Linux, Symbian and Windows CE. For the latter two, MyScript Builder has been re-thought to bring its power to systems with reduced resources: MyScript Builder Embedded. For integration of MyScript in other operating systems, including proprietary, Vision Objects can provide MyScript on demand.
Available on every platform, the scope of possibilities that MyScript Technology offers has also been widened. Vision Objects has developed MyScript InkSearch®, an extension SDK to MyScript Builder. It combines the power of MyScript with the ergonomics of a web search, adding great value to handwriting. No more spending costly time rummaging through masses of handwritten notes; MyScript InkSearch finds the information you are looking for in a matter of seconds!
