Vision Objects appoints Jean-Marc AÏCHOUN Vice President Sales and Marketing

Nantes (France), October 14th 2005, Vision Objects, the worldwide leader in handwriting recognition technology announces today the appointment of Jean-Marc Aïchoun to the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing. Jean-Marc brings with him more then 25 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the international software industry, during which he drove his teams to success, increasing competitiveness of new and existing product categories.

“Jean-Marc brings with him his enthusiasm, know-how and motivating talents that will help our team speed up the penetration of markets worldwide,” says Stefan Knerr, CEO of Vision Objects. “His extensive experience will help us accelerate business and gain more and better market insight, to better anticipate tomorrow’s applications for handwriting recognition.”

Jean-Marc has an impressive track record of different positions in Sales and Marketing for various prominent software companies. Jean-Marc started with the Philips group as Software Engineering Manager and subsequently pursued his career at Verilog, an important software development company; there, he evolved from director of Sales and Marketing to Vice President Sales, increasing revenue from 4.5 to 13M US$ in a 10 year time span. After the acquisition of Verilog by Telelogic, Jean-Marc continued to put his managerial skills to the task of consolidating both sales teams thereby surpassing objectives. Before joining Vision Objects, Jean-Marc served as Vice President Marketing for Engenuity Technologies Inc.

With Jean-Marc’s arrival, Vision Objects reinforces its team with 25 years of hands-on experience in and in-depth understanding of the international software business.

Jean-Marc will lead worldwide sales and marketing efforts within Vision Objects, including product marketing, sales and marketing communications.
