MyScript Equation allows the simple conversion of handwritten mathematical expressions to a neat and digital format, therefore opening new possibilities in the educational area. Indeed, it is now possible to build interactive mathematical exercises, write complex equations and send them to math software packages or simply record them in your favorite note taking-application using a digital pen, touch screen device or an interactive whiteboard.
How does it work?
MyScript Equation engine analyzes the spatial relationship between the various parts of the equation and does not take into account the sequence in which these were written, this ensures optimal recognition accuracy and best user experience when comparing to alternative offers that require strict sequencing of the equation. The result can be mapped to build standard LaTeX or MathML strings for interacting with other software solutions.
