Nantes (FRANCE), December 2012 - Vision Objects®, announced today the release of MyScript® Notes Mobile 1.1 for Apple iPad tablets.
MyScript Notes Mobile 1.1 provides iPad users a powerful electronic notepad, optimized for stylus input. Users can create and customize an unlimited number of notebooks in which they can write, draw, annotate, make sketches, and insert pictures.
Amongst the new features is the improved text handling capability with the introduction of MyScript Smart Note Taking™. Using background handwriting recognition, MyScript Notes Mobile turns handwritten words into live text that can be searched on the internet using your preferred search engine or in Wikipedia. Alternatively the definition for that word can be displayed if you chose the online dictionary. Nothing easier than looking up contacts by simply writing the name end performing a long press on it Furthermore Smart Note Taking makes editing notes a more productive and friendly experience as words can be moved, split, joined, erased by simple gestures.
Searching for a word across pages of notes is now possible thanks to the addition of MyScript’s InkSearch technology. This powerful feature means that handwritten notes can be managed with the same ease as any digital document. And finally PDF files can now be imported for document annotation using natural handwriting.
Handwritten text can be converted to digital text with unmatched accuracy and performance results in over 32 languages. In addition to note taking features MyScript Notes Mobile can be used to export and share documents through applications like Twitter®, Facebook®, Evernote®, email clients, SharePoint®, Dropbox® and Google Docs
